The Job Perform chemical tests for food, cosmetics, and Chinese medicines in accordance with related international safety standards and specific safety requirements. Operate and maintain various analytical instruments (ICP-MS, AAS, FIAS or other analytical instruments). Responsible for method development, modification and validation; general equipment calibration according to HOKLAS requirements. Assist to monitor workflow, develop, and update test procedures as required. Check test results from subordinates. The Person Degree / Higher Diploma holder in science related discipline, preferably in Chemistry / Food Science. Fresh graduates are considered. Hands on experience working in analytical laboratory (ICP-MS, AAS, FIAS or other analytical instruments). Certified Testing Technicians (CTT) / Certified Testing Professionals (CTP) is an advantage. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Knowledge of food and cosmetic analysis and regulatory requirements an advantage.
