Flagship General Manager/ Sizable food retailer/ Rebranding Our client is a reputable supermarket with well established ground. Because of business needs, they are looking for a General Manager for their flagship store to drive new branding and improving customer experinece. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the flagship store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the store’s profitability. Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high performance standards. Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Ensure the store’s visual merchandising and product displays are attractive, on-brand, and optimized to drive customer engagement and sales. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to maintain product quality, safety, and compliance with company standards and regulations. Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, events, and product launches to attract customers and boost sales. Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing overstock and shrinkage. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive shopping experience. Prepare and manage the store’s budget, including controlling expenses and optimizing resource allocation. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
