Reference 25000NXQ Responsibilities Develop or enhance applications for Equity Prime Brokerage & securities financing and Corporate Actions business areas. Support our technology platform and users with their daily requests and ensure on‑duty jobs whenever requested / while on call. Communicate and report to business stakeholders and IT peers within region and globally as needed. Contribute to team deliverables as per agreed roadmaps with necessary testing and using Agile methodologies. Collaborate with various regional teams working for other business lines. Qualifications Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent majors. Fluent in English is mandatory. Strong listening and analysis capacities to assess existing situation. Excellent communication to interact with other IT peers in Paris and Hong Kong. Strong team player, able to work with senior profiles to achieve win‑win outcomes. Proven knowledge of Core Java development (Java 17+, SpringBoot). Proven experience in Agile, TDD and continuous delivery (Jenkins, Sonar). Good knowledge of Domain driven design and Cloud Native applications and Docker. Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL, Python 3.6+ and Angular is a plus. Knowledge of Equity derivatives products (Equity finance, Delta1, Prime Brokerage and Corporate Action processing) is a plus. Department Description As part of the IT department within Global Banking Technology & Operations group, the financing team oversees development and support of applications used by Equity Prime Brokerage, and Security finance traders, sales, and operations staff. The team is composed of 10 developers and application support analysts, all based in Hong Kong. The team is seated within the dealing room and interacts with Front Office and Middle Office staff on a regular basis. The team is part of a wider global “community” of technology and Operations personnel spread across different SG premises. The community is focused on business lines and capable of transitioning from one application to another based on project and business needs. The “fungible” model provides much needed flexibility to operate in a complex environment by leveraging similar toolings and technology platforms that are based on modern cloud based technologies.
