Associate / Analyst, FPS and Structure Process Team, Deposit & Remittance Section Mizuho Bank, Limited has a long-term commitment to the Hong Kong market. Our clients comprise Japanese and non-Japanese corporations including PRC related ones, financial institutions, government and quasi-government organizations, etc. We provide a full spectrum of corporate banking services to our customers including syndication loans, treasury, transaction banking, financial advisory, project finance, merger and acquisition, leveraged finance, structured finance, etc. Deposit and Remittance Section ("DRS") is one of the operation units of the Hong Kong Administration Department in Mizuho Bank Hong Kong Branch. DRS provides operation support on Cash Management products and services to different business units, Head Office and various overseas branches. It also participates in operation and control optimization, new products and business initiative projects which supports the growth of the Bank. The FPS & Structure Process Team is part of Deposit Unit in DRS, focusing on FPS payment service, Audit Confirmation, Liquidity Deposit and related project implementation. Extended operational activities client account management, time deposit, Clearing Cheques, Cash Pooling, etc. Role requirements Support operational & administrative activities in relation to client account management, cash management products and services, including account opening & maintenance, Cash Pooling, Time Deposit, cheque processing, FPS, remittance processing, etc. Comply with internal procedures, policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements. Liaise with both internal (front-office, overseas branches) & external stakeholders (vendors, clients) to support account & cash management operational activities. Ensure daily operational/reporting are properly executed within pre-defined cut-off time and timely escalation for irregular cases, if any. Support projects & ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors / section head. Support enquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Perform any other duties assigned by TH & SH. Essential Functions Handle client account opening & maintenance, time deposit, Clearing Cheque, Cash Pooling, payment, and related operation activities. Handle client deposit account related instructions, enquiries and accounting entries from the client and stakeholders. Familiar with banking operation & knowledge in relation to client account management, cash management services and products. Strong sense of commitment and responsibility. Able to support the daily operation activities & irregular cases independently. Open mind-set to initiate changes and improvements for higher productivity/performance. Proactively acquire necessary knowledge in supporting the activities of the team. Work experience, education and skills Degree holder in Banking or Finance. 1‑3 years of experience in account opening and transaction processing activities or back‑office operation in the Banking industry. Team player with growth mindset. Sound communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of PC skills including MS Office. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
