To manage full spectrum accounting work including month end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, audit, budget and analysis. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of reports and supporting schedules. General Ledger Management: Prepare general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing processes. Daily Accounting Operation: Execute day‑to‑day financial tasks such as processing payments, collaborating with the Shared Services Centre to track non‑trade expenses, and managing accounts receivable follow‑ups. Credit Control Management: Manage accounts receivable for an assigned portfolio of customers, provide customer service and business information to support collection, monitor balances and aging, contact customers regarding delinquent invoices, record disputed charges, and research unapplied cash and open credits in accordance with policy. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local statutory requirements, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements and company policies. Audit Coordination: Facilitate external audit processes by preparing required documentation and providing clear, timely explanations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts. JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business or equivalent. EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE CPA or CPA student member (preferred) At least 3 years of related experience in accounting/finance within sizable companies Audit experience in a sizeable firm or Big 4 is an advantage Experience and knowledge of freight forwarding & logistics industry preferred Extensive knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX is an advantage ATTRIBUTES Proficiency in MS Excel, knowledge of ERP such as Oracle, Hyperion and Cargowise (preferred) Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Self‑motivated, strong sense of responsibility Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Good command of English, Cantonese & Mandarin Join FedEx and you'll be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package, including guaranteed two months’ year‑end bonus, medical and dental benefits, life insurance, provident fund, extra annual leave, and attractive promotional prospects.
