Job Summary:
Responsibilities
- Identify learning and development needs, employees' skills gaps and future learning requirements.
- Provide professional advice on the right course of action and partner with business leaders to implement training plans, and deliver learning and development strategies.
- Consider learning options such as coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training, classroom training, e-learning and simulation. Make recommendations to decision makers.
- Identify external training partners, and co-ordinate the logistics of training sessions.
- Regularly review the effectiveness of the training offerings delivered and propose any changes on the format/content of the training programs.
- Develop and implement training plans including timelines, budget and facilitators.
- Assist in managing training budgets and forecast current and future costs.
- Maintain a good relationship with local universities/academic institutions.
- Administer the training sponsorship process.
- Prepare reports to senior management for all key aspects of learning and development initiatives and results.
- Keep abreast of the latest learning and development products and approaches and ensure all training initiatives are in accordance with best practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years of Training and Development experience.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in engaging staff from different levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
