• We are looking for Designer - with details as follows :

Role summary :

• Provide fashion insights, conduct market research, provide design direction, and collaborate with sales, R&D, and US clients' fashion designers to produce market-attractive fabrics, while working independently and reporting directly to the CEO.

The Job :

• Fashion Trend Analysis: Provide valuable insights from a fashion designer's perspective to enhance the appeal of produced fabrics.
• Fashion Direction: Develop design concepts and provide direction to align with current fashion trends and customer preferences.
• Market Research: Conduct research to gather information on fashion trends, market demands, and customer preferences, especially focusing on fashion end products.
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet market demands.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team and R&D team from a designer's point of view, to produce the best fabric suitable for US clients. Collaborate with the fashion designers of US clients to suggest and produce the best fabric for their fashion end products.
• Presentation: Present design concepts to internal teams, clients, and at trade shows.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of designs, prototypes, and final specifications for future reference.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and manufacturing plants to clarify requirements and follow up on design-related inquiries.
• Reporting: Report directly to the CEO, providing updates on design trends, market research findings, and project progress.
• Independent Work: Work independently as an individual contributor, taking ownership of design projects from concept to completion.
• Event Participation: Frequently visit fashion shows, trade shows, and industry events to stay updated with the latest trends and network with industry professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years in design roles in the textile or fashion industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong creative and artistic skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences, especially in the US market. Experience in the US market is a plus.
