Enterprise Architect

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic pre-sales and technology business development team in the Greater China region. This strategic role is pivotal in shaping the future of our telecommunications services by designing and implementing innovative solutions across managed services, advanced compute platform, cloud networking, digital platforms, and AI‑driven network infrastructure. The successful candidate will serve as a critical bridge between our business units and the market, driving the development of vertical industry‑focused solutions and compelling use cases by integrating cutting‑edge OEM technologies with our company’s proprietary products and solutions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Architecture Leadership : Define and lead the enterprise architecture vision and strategy for our telecommunications offerings in the Greater China region, ensuring alignment with business goals and client transformation roadmaps. Business Unit Support and Enablement : Serve as a strategic technical partner to business units across Greater China, providing architectural guidance and translating business requirements into actionable technical strategies. Vertical Industry Solution Development : Drive the creation and refinement of industry‑specific solutions for manufacturing, finance, healthcare, transportation, smart cities, and energy, developing compelling use cases that demonstrate clear business value. OEM Technology Integration and Innovation : Collaborate with leading OEM partners to evaluate, integrate, and leverage cutting‑edge technologies, creating innovative hybrid solutions that maximize strengths of both OEM capabilities and our proprietary offerings. Client Engagement and Pre‑Sales : Act as a senior technical advisor during pre‑sales engagements, co‑creating compelling solutions and presenting complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. RFP Response Leadership : Lead and drive the technical response to customer RFPs, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, competitive solutions. Proof of Concept (POC) Management : Lead and orchestrate POC initiatives to demonstrate solution feasibility, performance, and business value. Solution Design and Innovation : Lead the design of end‑to‑end solutions encompassing managed services, cloud‑native networking, digital platform integration, and AI‑powered wireless and wired networks. Technical Governance and Best Practices : Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices across the organization. Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product management, engineering, sales teams, and business unit leaders to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Thought Leadership : Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies, represent the company at industry forums, and contribute to our reputation for innovation. Qualifications and Experience Technical Skills and Competencies Managed Service Design : Expertise in designing and implementing managed services for enterprise clients, strong understanding of service delivery frameworks (ITIL), SLAs, and performance management. Cloud Networking Solutions : Deep knowledge of cloud‑native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes), microservices, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alicloud, etc.). Experience with SDN and NFV. Digital Platform Integration : Proven experience with API‑driven architectures, legacy system modernization, data integration strategies, middleware, and ESB technologies. AI and Network Collaborative Design : Understanding of AI/ML for network performance optimization, automation, and security; experience with modern wireless (5G, Wi‑Fi 6/7) and wired networks. Business and Leadership : Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; strategic thinker aligning technology with business goals; strong client‑facing and pre‑sales capabilities. Advanced Compute Infrastructure Design : Able to design public and private cloud architectures leveraging Western and Eastern cloud OEM technologies (servers, storage, HCI). Professional Experience Minimum of 6–8 years in the telecommunications industry with a proven senior architecture track record. At least 5 years as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role focused on telecommunications. Demonstrated leadership in large‑scale, complex transformation programs in a multi‑vendor environment. Track record of developing vertical industry‑specific solutions for sectors such as manufacturing, finance, healthcare, transportation, consumer, or smart cities. Experience integrating OEM partner technologies with proprietary solutions to create differentiated market offerings. Background in supporting business units with technical strategy, solution development, and go‑to‑market initiatives. Success in leading RFP responses and developing winning technical proposals for complex telecommunications projects. Hands‑on experience designing and executing POCs that demonstrate solution value and technical feasibility. Deep understanding of the Greater China market and the global/regional telecommunications landscape is highly advantageous. Language Requirements Full professional proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential, with demonstrated fluency in both verbal and written communication across all three languages.
