Join to apply for the Regulatory Reporting Associate/VP role at Societe Generale Overview The Regulatory Reporting Production Team in SG Hong Kong is responsible for the production, oversight, investigation, and remediation of regulatory reports. The role focuses on enforcing and improving regulatory reporting and tax-related production processes across the Asia‑Pacific region. Responsibilities Act as a control tower to oversee regional production processes, ensuring robust governance frameworks, KPI/KRI implementation, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Lead governance meetings to address production performance, risks, incidents, and regulatory changes. Review and enhance existing processes for regulatory reporting and tax production, proposing and implementing remediation actions. Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks, delivering transversal regulatory and tax compliance topics within required timelines. Define and implement action plans for regulatory and tax‑related incidents, collaborating with local teams and escalating issues as needed. Conduct impact assessments for regulatory changes, perform gap analyses, and coordinate feasibility studies to propose solutions for systems, organization, and processes. Oversee outsourced and offshored production and ensure readiness for new regulatory requirements. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete production of regulatory reports (e.g., HKMA periodic reports/surveys) and tax reports (e.g., FATCA and CRS reporting, post‑trade monitoring). Coordinate business requirements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system and process changes. Maintain key working documents and provide dashboards and indicators to monitor production perimeters for both regulatory reporting and tax processes. Build expertise in regulatory and tax frameworks across countries/jurisdictions within the region, staying updated on reforms and ensuring compliance. Qualifications Strong analytical mindset with a natural aptitude for solving complex problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools is a plus. Team player with the ability to drive cross‑departmental initiatives. Strong ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
