Direct message the job poster from BAH Partners Senior Consultant at BAH Partners｜Finance & Technology Our client is a Global asset management firm with multi-strategy hedge fund who are looking for an Application / Production Support Engineer to take charge of L1 - L2 Trading Application Support, spanning from server-side infrastructure for execution, and applications used by the business. This is an exciting opportunity to take part in managing production systems and participate in associated project work for applications they support with internal technical teams. You'd be able to gain exposure revolving around automation tools to improve the efficiency of the business and build close-knit relationships with internal traders / portfolio managers to streamline trading activities. Responsibilities Become the go-to person for trading services and mainly equity volatility applications regionally to support and monitor production environment. Take part in solving application-related issues independently, and provide support accordingly. Coordinate with developers and infrastructure teams for releases and to prepare for setting up servers and keeping the environment up-to-speed for trading. Take ownership of change management and implementation of the company's systems to match global support standards. Requirements Minimum of 3+ years experience designing and supporting production. Good understanding and strong knowledge of Linux / Unix, programming (Python, Perl, Shell) and database skills. Ability to prioritize and juggle between tasks in a fast-paced team, with great analytical skills and attention to detail to understand needs from the business. Excellent written and verbal communications with a great personality to face off directly with front‑office stakeholders (Portfolio Managers).
