A typical day in this Role: Assisting the Trading / Category Manager in developing and executing category strategies to drive sales, profitability, and market share Conducting market research and analysing data to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights Assisting in vendor selection and management, negotiating contracts, and setting pricing strategies Collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as marketing, merchandising, and supply chain to ensure effective execution of category plans Managing the product assortment, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall strategy and meets customer needs Monitoring and analysing category performance metrics and making recommendations for improvement Supporting the creation of promotional and marketing campaigns to drive category growth Assisting in hitting the assigned KPI’s for the category This job is a good fit for You if: You are aCOMPETITOR who focuses on achieving results and is more driven by logic than emotion You are aCHALLENGER who loves to challenge and questions everything You are anADVENTURER who makes decisions quickly and spontaneously and is comfortable with risk Success will depend on: Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour Experience working with vendors and negotiating contracts Experience with health & beauty products or retail is preferred What is holding you back?
