Business Analyst

Established since 1992, we are a TCSP licensed family office with an in‑house corporate services team offering a broad range of professional services to our group’s corporate and individual clients engaged in diversified activities including Shipping, Private Equities, Direct Investments, Real Estate, Agriculture, and Global Equities. With an expanded mandate, we are currently looking for a seasoned and versatile Business Analyst with strong financial and analytical skills and a desire to independently oversee a portfolio of entities involved in property, shipping, and financial investments. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough business analysis, identify requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations. Analyze and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support strategic decision‑making and monitor performance. Manage and support various projects, including risk identification, task management, and stakeholder communication. Liaise between project teams and key stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project deliverables. Assist in evaluating and conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities across different asset classes and business proposals. Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments, such as equities, money market funds, and alternative assets. Support treasury and investment functions, including cash flow management, forecasting, and trade execution. Assist with company secretarial matters and ensure regulatory compliance. Perform ad‑hoc analysis and assignments as requested by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial modelling skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; experience with other analytical tools and project management software is a plus. Self‑motivated, proactive, and inquisitive, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Experience in the shipping industry and with crypto assets is a plus. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Professional qualification in ACCA, HKICPA, CIMA, CPA or CFA is advantageous.
