About the Opportunity

the company continues to invest heavily in localisation across European markets. There are two real bottlenecks: translation quality and scale are hard to achieve at the same time, and the problem is rarely \"is the translation accurate\" — it is \"can users understand it, and can they get through the flow\".

You will own two things: rebuilding the translation and quality-evaluation pipeline around large language models, and building an AI-assisted localisation monitoring and remediation system. You will be accountable for the business outcomes of localisation.

This role does not require a linguistics or translation background, multilingual ability, or algorithm engineering skills. We are looking for someone who can make the whole organisation share responsibility for localisation quality.

What You’ll Be Doing AI translation
  • Have LLMs carry translation and quality evaluation at scale, so human effort concentrates on setting the standards and making the final calls
  • Keep translation quality stable while coverage expands substantially, so cost no longer grows linearly with languages, content and releases
Monitoring and remediation
  • Ensure localisation issues are caught before release, monitored after release, and genuinely verified once fixed
  • Ensure conversion on key user journeys is not damaged by language issues
  • Drive a sustained reduction in severe production issues and in issues that recur
Shared objectives
  • Make localisation quality a responsibility shared by product, design, engineering, content and compliance — not something the language team carries alone
  • Turn every issue found into a preventive capability in the system
