Job Summary Wealth Solutions Operation Department (herein “WMO”) is at the heart of Wealth Solutions business and bridges various stakeholders to work as one. The department is responsible for setting up the products internally, executing, clearing, settling transactions, and resolving any problems derived from these activities. The department is also accountable for engineering and performing control processes to remediate inherent risk in operational activities and to drive efficiencies and digitalization. Responsibilities Accountable for setting up products in the system. Managing transaction input and data maintenance. Executing confirmation and payment processes. Performing reconciliation and other control processes. Serving as liaison with frontlines for exceptional cases. Cooperating with product managers and technology to drive projects. Business Perform day‑to‑day tasks and derivative jobs, including those listed under Responsibilities. Support Equity, Mutual Funds, and Treasury business of HK Wealth Solutions. Processes Provide operational support to Equity, Mutual Funds and Treasury business of HK Wealth Solutions. Perform day‑to‑day tasks and derivative jobs, as described in Responsibilities. People & Talent Quick learner with proven academic record. Logical and analytical with good reasoning ability. Team player with an open mindset. Good common sense. Self‑driven and diligent. Proficient English skill. Experience in financial industry or banking operations is preferred. Risk Management Ensure proper risk‑management controls on daily operational matters are imposed without breaching the Securities and Futures Ordinance and other relevant regulations. Governance Support the operations in meeting its obligations on the prevention of money laundering under the Group’s Policies and Standards, and under local laws and regulations. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Effectively and collaboratively identify, elevate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. Our Ideal Candidate Fluent in English and Putonghua. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Knowledge in investment products including equity, mutual fund, fixed income, structured product. Positive and can‑do attitude.
