Major Duties and Responsibilities Preparing the necessary materials and equipment for setting up laboratory class; Demonstrating laboratory experiments and providing analytical instrument training to students and laboratory users; Supporting laboratory set-up and equipment installation; Ensuring the safety and security related issues in the laboratories; and Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors. The appointee shall be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a related discipline; MLT Part I/II registration is highly preferred but not a must; Relevant and ample medical laboratory experience in Clinical Chemistry, Medical Microbiology, Cellular Pathology or Hematology is desirable; Preferably with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in supporting teaching activities in a biomedical/medical science laboratory; Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, able to meet deadlines and can work independently; and Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
