TechCopain is committed to bringing innovative visions to life. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Information Technology Support Engineer. The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, administering systems, and addressing help desk tickets. The role involves collaborating with team members, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, and maintaining high-quality support standards to optimize productivity and user satisfaction. Responsibilities Serve as 1st and 2nd line support for Banking applications. Manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments. Perform start‑of‑day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover. Assist with support, maintenance and testing of applications delivered through agile methodologies with teams working in squads. Track outstanding issues and work with the appropriate parties to achieve resolution. Liaise with internal, external stakeholders and 3rd party vendors. Identify process improvement opportunities and automate manual tasks. Provide support of liquidity providers, pricing and aggregation engines. Coordinate and provide support to vendor or 3rd party applications. Work with network team on SSL config/licensing and certificate renewals. Collaborate with UNIX/Database/Network/Market Data/Infrastructure/Firewall teams during outages and code changes. Participate in bank‑wide DR/BCP/Isolation tests, site switches and work with other PS teams on DR remediation. Support infrastructure changes, perform business check‑outs, releases. Document issues and new processes in Confluence. Work on weekends and provide on‑call support on a rota basis. Work on shift basis if required during different time zones. Qualifications Proficient in Technical Support and Help Desk Support to resolve user issues effectively. Strong knowledge of Information Technology principles and practices. Experience with troubleshooting and identifying hardware and software issues. Skilled in system administration and managing IT systems efficiently. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Experience with IT service management tools and methodologies is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Job Requirements As an FX Support Analyst to join team in London. You will provide global follow‑the‑sun 1st and 2nd line production support service to the in‑house and vendor FX Trading applications across the regional FX business using your technical and business knowledge. Education Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. Experience required 6+ years of experience in a Production Support role. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and while under pressure. Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both external and internal stakeholders. Good understanding of the FX product scope and terminologies. Experience supporting a low latency platform. Skills Required Proficiency in operating systems knowledge (Windows, Unix, Linux). Strong scripting skills (Shell Scripting, Python). Good knowledge of monitoring/scheduling tools such as Control M, CA, Dynatrace. Databases and writing SQL queries. Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level.
