We are seeking a forward-thinking and innovative technology leader to drive and oversee the IT function of our organization. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives with business goals. The Head of IT will be responsible for overseeing the IT strategy, managing internal teams and external vendors, and driving innovation across all technology platforms. You will be expected to: Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge Lead enterprise-wide technology transformation across core systems, data, cloud, cybersecurity and automation Establish robust IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and key stakeholders across organization Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions Collaborate with business units to identify technology needs and deliver scalable solutions Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation Define clear goals, KPIs, and career paths for IT staff Drive cross-functional collaboration and promote best practices in project management and agile delivery The right fit person will have/be: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Professional certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, CISM/CISSP, or ITIL are advantageous 10+ years in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within insurance or financial services Proven experience leading complex transformation programs, system modernization, and IT operations Familiarity with core insurance systems (e.g., policy admin, underwriting, claims) and digital platforms Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a customer-first mindset Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Deep understanding of local regulatory landscape, including HKIA guidelines and cybersecurity obligations Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus We offer hybrid work and competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualification and experience.
