Key Responsibilities Client Money Management: Accurately and efficiently process client deposits and withdrawals, ensuring strict adherence to the SFC's Securities and Futures (Client Money) Rules. Financial Operations: Execute daily finance operations including voucher preparation and posting, expense payments, and bank reconciliation. Reconciliation & Reporting: Prepare monthly account schedules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and investment portfolios. Management Support: Assist in the preparation of regular management reports and financial analyses. Bank Relations & Treasury Support: Maintain and update bank signatory arrangements and support the team with daily funding and cash management arrangements with counterparty banks. Period-End Close: Provide crucial support for the month‑end and year‑end financial closing processes. Audit Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Administrative Duties: Provide general administrative support to the Finance department. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of relevant practical experience within the licensed securities firm or investment bank. Demonstrable, hands‑on experience with the SFC's Client Money Rules is a non‑negotiable requirement. A diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial operations. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, particularly during period‑end closings and audit cycles. Mature, detail‑oriented, and a reliable team player with strong ethical standards. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
