About The Job As an Investment Counsellor in our Private Banking division, you will be responsible for offering personalized investment advice and solutions to high-net-worth clients. You will leverage your expertise in financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management to help clients achieve their financial goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the Asian financial landscape and an ability to navigate complex investment strategies. Key Responsibilities Demonstrated skill in implementing and managing investment portfolios, providing strategic advice on market trends, and delivering actionable investment ideas. Maintain trusting relationships with high-net-worth clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Actively contribute to business growth by working alongside Relationship Managers to expand client portfolios and attract new clients. Responsible for determining investment suitability, identifying specific investment opportunities, and providing tailored portfolio advice and ongoing monitoring across various asset classes. Conduct regular meetings with clients to review portfolio performance, providing tailored investment advice and financial planning services. Analyse clients' financial situations, investment objectives, and risk tolerance to create customized investment strategies. Monitor and review client portfolios, making recommendations for adjustments as needed to align with their investment goals. Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities relevant to the Asian region. Collaborate with internal teams, including wealth management, research, and product specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Skills And Experience Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are preferred. Proven experience in private banking or wealth management, with a focus on investment counselling. In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management, particularly in the Asian context. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
