Head of IT

About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT to lead our technology operations, with a strong focus on infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise software applications. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT environment while supporting business growth and innovation. Key responsibilities: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud systems. Lead cybersecurity strategy and operations to safeguard company data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Manage enterprise software applications, ensuring optimal performance, integration, and user support. Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Collaborate with business units to align IT initiatives with strategic goals. Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the banking, insurance, or telecom industry. Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise software management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders across all levels. Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and IT governance frameworks (e.g., ISO, ITIL, NIST). Ability to manage change and drive digital transformation initiatives.
