Job Summary: HKEX Treasury is responsible for managing and investing the Group's financial resources, maximizing net investment income. Treasury proactively manages daily cashflows, ensures sufficient liquidity to meet all obligations and regulatory requirements, and keeps risk within the Group's approved appetite. Treasury also manages external banking relationships and daily settlement operations, and is involved in strategic initiatives to optimize cashflow and liquidity. Job Duties: The Treasury Markets is the front‑office function responsible for executing investment activities. The Vice President supports the Group Treasurer and the Senior Vice President of Treasury Markets, performing daily market operations, trade execution, and collaborating with Treasury Operations and Treasury Control to resolve trade‑cycle issues. Job Responsibilities: Work closely with Senior Vice President of Treasury Markets, to formulate investment strategies to enhance and optimize the Treasury investment income Help guiding and coaching the team for effective trade execution Ensure all trade execution complies with the proper internal governance, limits and controls Work with Treasury Operations and Treasury Control on managing all Treasury related transactions, such as money market, FX and fixed income products Build and enhance daily MI on market positioning and relevant risk exposures Ensure proper maintenance and controls of the static data setup in the Treasury system Establish toolkits for regular monitoring and reporting on the HK Treasury Portfolio Perform ad‑hoc analysis on credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk Lead in projects on internal Treasury system setup and configurations Assist in managing overall HKEX's external banking relationship, and internal stakeholders Actively engage in negotiation with banks on legal documentation, across ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA and banking facilities Actively monitor the global markets and impact of changing macroeconomic trends on HKEX's investments Job Requirements: University degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or related subjects Minimum 10 years' experience in Treasury and financial markets front office role Knowledge and experience in Money Markets, FX, Credit, Rates, Repo and Fixed Income products Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and central bank operations Familiar with banking products across cash management, intraday liquidity and revolving credit facility Familiar with settlement infrastructures such as RTGS and SWIFT will be an advantage Experience and track record in front office function Knowledge of Treasury systems - experience with FIS Quantum system will be an advantage Excellent managerial, analytical, strategic thinking, networking, interpersonal and communication skills, strong risk awareness, pro‑active, attentive to details, a good team player, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to work with a wide circle of stakeholders across different functions and divisions, driving for collective consensus and results Have a wide professional network with counterparty banks in Hong Kong and Asia Strong command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin Proficient programming language skills will be an advantage Location: HKEX – Exchange Square Shift: Standard – 40 Hours (Hong Kong SAR) Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Permanent HKEX is committed as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
