IT Specialist - Officer - Post-trade Application - 12 months contract Join to apply for the IT Specialist - Officer - Post-trade Application - 12 months contract role at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) Job Duties As IT specialist, you will perform application development, system testing and documentation of mission critical IT systems. You will also handle technical enquiries and support testing by external and internal parties. Develop s/w as per program specifications. Perform the unit tests and system tests. Perform performance testing and performance tuning work. Handle technical enquiries, perform investigation and support testing by external and internal parties related to the responsible IT systems Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. At least 2+ years’ experience in Java, Microservices and Container application development and support Proficiency in Java and SQL, Linux and Windows operating systems. Familiar with DevOps life cycles and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Git, Junit, docker, etc.) Experience in cloud technologies or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
