Team Lead, Engineering - Microservices, Node JS, React JS - Perm - 85K-100K+Bonus As a Team Lead - Engineering, you will work with a team of frontend and backend engineers, ensuring high‑quality code delivery, adherence to best practices, and effective collaboration across disciplines. Responsible for conducting code reviews, guiding architecture decisions, debugging production issues, and maintaining reliable deployments. This role requires strong technical ownership and hands‑on problem‑solving, as well as the ability to coordinate tasks, manage priorities, and work closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, well‑engineered solutions. Responsibilities Write, review, and optimize production‑ready code in React, Node.js, and Docker, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability (70%) Perform code review, enforce best practices, maintain high code quality standards, and guide engineers through constructive feedback Define and implement scalable architectures, modular components, and efficient service interactions Coach and support engineers through regular feedback, pair programming, and technical guidance Debug and resolve production issues, coordinate incident response, and ensure root‑cause analysis and prevention Plan and prioritize development tasks, balance workloads, and manage sprint or release deliverables Work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to align on requirements, timelines, and technical feasibility Maintain reliable build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, monitor system health, and enforce security and automation standards Identify bottlenecks, propose tooling or workflow improvements, and drive overall engineering efficiency Requirements Expert in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js with strong experience building full‑stack web applications and reusable components Skilled in backend & API designing and maintaining microservices and GraphQL APIs for scalable, distributed architectures Proficient with SQL databases and modern NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB and Redis, including schema design, query optimization, and caching strategies Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including container orchestration, automated deployments, and system monitoring Proficient with GitHub Workflows, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, building, and deployment Deep understanding of high‑load distributed systems, cloud‑native architecture, and performance optimization Strong understanding of web security standards, authentication flows, data protection, and secure coding practices Familiar with SEO optimization, web performance metrics, and best practices for improving visibility and user experience Committed to clean code, testing, observability, and production‑grade reliability Skilled in leading cross‑functional teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and aligning technical work with business objectives Good to have familiarity with Java/Kotlin/C#, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and scalable caching or storage solutions, but not mandatory 10+ years in software engineering, delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performance applications Excellent business mindset and execution skills.
