Project Assistant - Office of the President The appointee will provide a wide range of administrative support in relation to the strategic initiatives and collaboration related to Mainland engagement under the purview of the President. Responsibilities Provide secretarial support to relevant committees/task forces. Provide administrative support to the project operation; assist in planning, implementation, evaluation, and engagement of the initiatives. Support the organisation of activities and events. Work closely with internal and external parties. Perform other duties as assigned by the President and his delegate(s). Qualifications Recognised university degree, preferably with several years of postqualification working experience gained in tertiary education setting. Experience and knowledge in supporting relevant projects and familiarity with Mainland affairs. Highly proficient in both English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). Attentive to details, highly self‑motivated, strong communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills. Adept at a multi‑tasking work environment, able to work under tight deadlines, and able to work both independently and as a team. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed‑term contract. Fringe benefits include the University’s voluntary contributions to the MPF scheme or a contract‑end lump sum payment (totaling up to 10% of the basic salary), leave, medical and dental benefits.
