Our client is seeking a QA Engineer / Specialist to join their team Are you passionate about quality assurance in the lighting industry? This role offers an exciting opportunity to expand your expertise in a rapidly growing field while ensuring product compliance across global markets. What you'll be doing? Ensure global compliance: Coordinate and administer testing to meet standards across various international markets. Collaborate across teams: Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and third‑party labs on sample evaluation, checking, and testing report reviews. Drive product development: Review and provide feedback on samples during the R&D process, contributing to product improvement. Problem‑solve proactively: Work closely with test labs, suppliers, and customers to address and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain quality standards: Evaluate and uphold the vendor qualification program to ensure consistent product quality. Conduct on‑site inspections: Visit production facilities and review production lines to maintain quality control. Who are they looking for? Educational background: Candidates with a tertiary education in Quality, Electronic, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related disciplines. Equivalent qualifications are also welcome. Industry experience: Solid understanding of lighting and electrical products compliance regulations (CE, UL, CCC, KC, etc.), particularly in household appliances or lighting products. Technical expertise: Familiarity with approval processes, quality and safety protocols, and testing procedures. Regulatory knowledge: Understanding of Technical File requirements and Electrical Safety Directives such as LVD, EMC, CCC, as well as RoHS and REACH regulations. Quality management systems: Familiarity with QMS, ISO standards, and auditing systems. Communication skills: Strong ability to communicate and present ideas effectively. Language proficiency: Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to facilitate seamless communication with international stakeholders. Technical proficiency: Proficient in MS Office software for efficient documentation and reporting. Personal qualities: Detail‑oriented with excellent time‑management skills, responsible, and able to work independently. Why you should consider this opportunity?
