Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of all school facilities and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety equipment, ensuring they meet the highest standards Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems to minimize disruptions to school activities Troubleshoot and diagnose complex system issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, prioritizing the safety and well‑being of our community Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is completed to the required standards and within budget Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and school policies, with a focus on maintaining a safe environment for students and staff Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and safety inspections Qualifications Must possess a valid REW A / B License Proven experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in a commercial or institutional setting Strong knowledge of fire safety systems and protocols, with experience in conducting fire drills and safety training Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and international safety standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds A commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable learning environment for our school community If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
