Programme Assistant - HKIFF (4 months) Hong Kong International Film Festival Society Ltd. (HKIFFS) Company Description The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society values creativity, dedication, and passion in its employees. We promote the art and culture of films through annual film events, including the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum, and the Cine Fan Programme. Responsibilities Assist in answering general enquiries on film submissions. Sort and catalog incoming publicity materials. Assist in proofreading, fact‑checking editorial copy, and enter film content into the website. Assist in the preparation of film subtitles. Coordinate the set‑up of exhibitions during the HKIFF period when needed. Write and prepare social media posts on Q&A sessions during the festival period. Assist in the implementation of other logistical needs as required. Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management. Requirements University graduate or equivalent. At least 1 year of relevant working experience. Experience working in the film industry, cultural events, trade shows, or exhibitions is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua. Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Required to work overtime and irregular hours, including full‑day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.
