Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Head of Credit Risk, this position holds primary accountability for credit review and approval, as well as the development and enhancement of relevant credit strategies, manuals, and processes. Key responsibilities include: Independently conducting credit assessments on new SME loan applications and regularly reviewing existing clients, ensuring timely reporting of credit information and subordinate reports. Formulating and reviewing risk frameworks, credit policies, risk models, and enhancing credit approval procedures, standards and overall credit management cycle. Leading the development of data-driven credit assessment strategies, methodologies, and tools. Supporting portfolio risk management and ensuring effective risk monitoring, including early warning mechanisms. Implementing fraud prevention measures to maintain good credit quality of underlying assets. Facilitating project development, data analysis, and other credit-related initiatives. Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and assisting in daily operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Risk Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of credit approval and/or credit strategy experience in the banking or finance sector. Thorough understanding of the Hong Kong SME loan market and relevant regulatory requirements. Knowledge of Trade Finance with experience in the E-commerce industry is advantageous. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, multitask effectively, and pay close attention to detail. Creative and tech-savvy with a focus on developing new products, procedures, and innovative solutions. Ability to think creatively to find optimal solutions.
