VP/AVP, Trade Portfolio Management, Global Transaction Services

Global Transaction Services (GTS) at DBS comprises Cash Management, Trade Finance, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services, supporting Corporate and Institutional customers. The position serves as a customer focal point of contact for an assigned portfolio, focusing on Trade Finance solutions (including Documentary Trade and Open Account Trade). The role engages clients proactively to defend, cross‑sell, and upsell through strengthened banking relationships and product advisory. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of key trade customers to deepen wallet share through utilization management, advisory, cross‑sell, and upsell. Manage P&L responsibilities for the assigned customer portfolio with Doc Trade, receivable financing and supply chain program under management. Maintain close rapport and sticky relationships with clients with RMs through continuous engagement and market updates. Drive supplier onboarding for established Supply Chain Program, and drive additional debtor onboarding for established Receivable Financing Solutions. Act as the internal focal point to engage stakeholders for regular program updates. Engage external platform partners regularly to advise solutions or enhancement needs. Support improvement of customer journey through continuous review of our solutions and development of our products and services, aligned to bank’s strategy via market research, customer feedback, and financial analysis. Conduct data analysis on customers’ usage, engage and provide feedback to Product or Ops for potential enhancement opportunities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policy requirements. Requirements Degree holder or equivalent in related disciplines. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in banking, financial institutions, or corporates’ procurement centre. Strong aspiration to develop a career in Global Transaction Services for trade and Open Account Trade as well as Cash Management and Digital solutions. Prior exposure to receivable financing, supply chain financing, procurement services or related professional background. Self‑driven with tenacity to succeed, good influencing and negotiation skills, able to drive cross‑functional collaboration. Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese, Mandarin language skills would be a plus. Positive “can‑do” attitude, resilience and tenacity to overcome obstacles. Less experienced (
