Responsibilities

  • Engage in the research and development of innovative drugs, focusing on novel targets and mechanisms in drug discovery.
  • Oversee the experimental components of drug development projects, ensuring high-quality and reproducible results.
  • Communicate effectively with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to implement IND-enabling studies, with an emphasis on manufacturing, formulation, and quality systems.
  • Design and conduct various experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of new compounds across a range of therapeutic areas.
  • Analyze data and write research reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive the progress of research projects.

Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in drug development, particularly in the areas of oncology (lung cancer), neurological disorders (depression, epilepsy), or related fields.
  • Familiarity with preclinical research, including in vitro and in vivo models, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in target identification, validation, and novel drug discovery is a plus.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, pharmacology assays, and biochemical analysis.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the capacity to lead and mentor team members effectively.
