The Product Management & Governance Specialist is a member of Global Products & Solutions (GPS) Structured Products & FX Management and Development team, reporting to the Head of Product Management & Governance (Asia). The incumbent supports Product Owners of GPS on products and services (P&S) development and management in Asia, driving regional P&S governance activities and related tasks & initiatives. Core responsibilities include management and governance of all GPS products and services, planning, launching, amending and lifecycle managing offerings and business goals in Asia. This involves identifying and assessing challenges during various phases of the P&S development cycle and providing innovative solutions to mitigate GPS‑related issues. YOUR CHALLENGE People Management Foster a collaborative relationship with key counterpart functions such as Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, Credit, IT, Operations, Finance and others. Communicate and collaborate effectively with representatives of all relevant P&S approval/review business and support units. Products Management Drive launches of new P&S approvals (NPA); contribute at all stages of product approval and implementation (business case, risk analysis, operational and control processes, system requirements, etc.) through engagement with relevant stakeholders. Manage established and existing P&S through regular reviews as part of lifecycle management (LCM). Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offering landscape, and regulatory developments to support Product Owners’ business goals in conjunction with regional and global strategies. Identify opportunities to enhance functional efficiency and productivity, proposing process improvements and workflow optimisations where relevant. Governance Maintain GPS products and services content and data within an inventory list, in collaboration with the New Product Approval Committee (NPAC) Secretary. Support and ensure respective Product Owners adhere to their P&S management responsibilities and offering scopes. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure NPA launches and LCM reviews accommodate all regulatory requirements, changes and developments. Adhere to all relevant P&S management and governance related policies, guidelines, manuals and controls. YOUR PROFILE Personal & Social Able and motivated to work independently and in a regional/global team setup with a positive attitude. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, well‑structured and detail‑oriented. Great work ethics with a tight control mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with different types and levels of stakeholders. Fast learner, able to work under pressure with good judgement to meet tight deadlines. Fluent in written and verbal English and preferably Chinese. Professional & Technical 5–10 years of working experience in the financial industry. Sound knowledge of financial and investment products, with good understanding of wealth management business. Strong presentation and project management capabilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related fields.
