Position Finance Head – Financial Managers & Controllers (Accounting) – Full Time – Causeway Bay, Wan Chai District. Overview The Finance Head will oversee essential financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating strategic growth. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, audits, budgeting, treasury functions for Hong Kong and international entities, working with cross‑functional teams to promote business expansion and enhance operational efficiency within a fast‑paced cryptocurrency landscape. Responsibilities Manage comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting for entities in Hong Kong and abroad, ensuring adherence to SFC regulations and IFRS/GAAP. Oversee financial and regulatory audits at both company and group levels for Hong Kong and foreign entities. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to inform strategic decisions for Hong Kong and global operations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to facilitate business expansion and ensure compliance internationally. Oversee treasury operations: payments, cash flow management, liquidity control, daily reconciliations, support for wallet operations. Conduct cost analyses to streamline payment processes and reduce operational expenses. Serve as primary contact for auditors, assessors, regulators, and tax authorities, addressing inquiries promptly. Source, implement, and integrate a new finance system, ensuring alignment with internal settlement system for efficiency and compliance. Support ad‑hoc business and finance initiatives, including automation and account openings. Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial finance and auditing, preferably from Big 4 or brokerage, cryptocurrency, or payments sectors. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field, and professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent). Deep understanding of IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements for Hong Kong, Europe, and Middle East. Extensive expertise in Financial Resources Rules (FRR) reporting to the SFC. Strong communication and collaboration skills; fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Familiarity with the cryptocurrency or digital asset industry preferred. Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Benefits Competitive remuneration and benefits.
