ASTRI’s core R&D competence is grouped under five Technology Divisions: Communications Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Trust Technologies, Advanced Electronic Components and Systems, IoT Sensing and AI Technologies, and Innovative Mind.It is applied across six core areas: Smart City, Financial Technologies, New Industrialisation and Intelligent Manufacturing, Digital Health, Application Specific Integrated Circuits, and Metaverse.Over the years, ASTRI has nurtured a pool of research, I&T talents and received numerous international awards for its pioneering innovations as well as outstanding business and community contributions. To date, ASTRI has transferred almost 1500 technologies to industries and been granted more than 1100 patents in Mainland China, the US, and other countries.Job Responsibilities - Support R&D projects.- Conduct research on speech signal processing and intelligent human-machine interaction.- Design and optimize machine learning frameworks for end-to-end speech recognition.- Optimize cloud services or offline inference of transformer-based AI models.- Deploy AI services on Linux with Docker.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with end-to-end model training.Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.- 3+ years experience in speech signal processing, end-to-end AI models, and machine learning frameworks such as WeNet, Kaldi, K2-fsa, Transformer, OpenAI/Whisper, etc. Candidates with less experience may also be considered.- Knowledge of Python, Java, C/C++, C# is a plus.- Good command of English and Chinese; Cantonese preferred.- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.- Ability to work independently and in teams.- Alignment with ASTRI values.The position offers a renewable contract with a competitive salary, performance-linked variable pay, and benefits including paid leave, medical insurance, and MPF contribution.
