Senior Game Programmer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Game Programmer to join our core development team. As a senior member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation and bringing the creative vision of our project to life. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing key gameplay systems and solving complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities Design, prototype, and implement major gameplay systems, including character controls, AI, combat mechanics, game progression, and UI systems within Unreal Engine. Work in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with game designers, artists, and producers to translate design concepts into robust technical realities. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and memory to ensure a smooth player experience on target platforms. Uphold high standards for code quality, maintainability, and scalability through code reviews, documentation, and best practices. Debug and fix complex bugs, providing effective and lasting solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of professional experience in game development, with at least one shipped title in a programming role. Expert-level proficiency in C# / C++. Significant experience in Unreal Engine or Unity. Exceptional debugging and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset. Bonus Qualifications (Nice to Have) Direct professional experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, including knowledge of Blueprints, UMG, Niagara, and other core UE systems. Knowledge of specific domains like animation systems, physics, AI behavior trees, or rendering pipelines.
