Business Development Executive We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team at TheBEAT.Asia who is well-versed in media sales, marketing and corporate partnerships. Your passion for Sales & Marketing will help you thrive to maintain and build connections with existing and prospective clients. Able to think out-of-the-box and motivated to lead with expertise and experience, you're driven and self‑motivated with the ability to propose effective and innovative strategies to boost current sales processes, with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. Preferably, with a background in Sales, Technology and Digital Solutions in the media industry you'll work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the regional team. Self‑motivated with the ability to work in a fast‑moving environment. Responsibilities Identify Opportunities: Locate and define new business prospects within sectors such as publishing, PR, advertising, and hospitality. Revenue Goals: Meet or exceed set revenue targets while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Client Relationship Management: Maintain excellent client service experience and identify opportunity to acquire potential clients across different platforms both online and offline through email, chat, call and any other communication channels. Strategic Partnerships: Develop and implement business strategies in alignment with the company’s mission and goals. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends to guide effective business strategies. Prepare necessary reviews, reports, manuals, and other documentation related to sales activities. Work closely with relevant teams internally to ensure alignment and the smooth execution of advertising activities and projects. Requirements Degree Holder in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related discipline. At least 2 years working experience in sales and marketing, preferably with experience in digital industry. Experience in digital sales for advertising, advertorials, sponsored content, digital marketing services, etc. Established relationships with key client contacts within the market is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful. Experience working within the lifestyle-based media industry is a plus. Exceptional ability to develop and maintain cross‑functional relationships. Excellent attention to detail, work independently, flexible and willing to learn.
