Travel required to Singapore/Hong Kong, up to 20%. The company is in stealth mode, aiming to disrupt the South East Asian market. The company's success will be measured by the speed, security, and reliability of app development. Potential for career progression to co-founder status. The company is planning to set up an office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A capital raise of US$3-5 million is targeted for the pre‑seed stage. Job Description Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy in line with CEO's and founders' vision. Stay updated on IT and telecommunications trends to inform strategic direction. Lead the technology team, promoting innovation and continuous improvement. Evaluate and improve technology infrastructure, systems, and processes. Drive product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures to protect data and client information. Work with executives to prioritize technology initiatives that enhance operations and customer experience. Manage vendor contracts and service/product delivery. Provide guidance and support for technology projects, ensuring on-time completion. Manage the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost control. Foster a culture of innovation to drive competitive advantages through technology. Keep informed on technology advancements, industry practices, and regulatory requirements. Job Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience in a senior leadership role within the IT and telecom services industry. Extensive knowledge of IT and telecom infrastructure and emerging technologies. Proficiency in software development, network architecture, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Proven success in developing and executing technology strategies and managing projects. Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and possess sound business judgment. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance norms in the IT and telecom sectors. Superb communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Experience in leading and developing iOS and Android applications. Experience in building and leading teams with effective management styles.
