Pilates Instructor'

Responsibilities Designing and delivering Pilates instruction to groups and individuals. Educate students and private clients on proper form and technique. Ability to understand and program effectively, teaching authentically to the group class descriptions. Commanding, charismatic and confident presence leading a group class. Ensuring there is sufficient variety of exercises and creativity of flow in Pilates group classes so that students will feel engaged in something fresh and challenging thereby elevating and progressing their Pilates practice. Offering modifications, regressions and progressions to make sessions inclusive and supportive to cater for students of all levels. Providing motivating, succinct introductions and engaging, endearing outros in a group class and/or private client setting so that students feel connected and eager to learn more. Creating a Supportive Environment Providing a safe and supportive space for students and private clients to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Demonstrate proper use of Pilates equipment, upholding hygiene & safety standards, educating students & private clients to respect PURE Pilates way of working and its protocols. Inspiring Private Clients and Group Class Students Promote all PURE Pilates services, programs and offerings. Building a private client portfolio within PURE. Providing individualised and personal programming for private clients so that they feel fulfilled and that the sessions are meeting their needs. Inspiring Private clients and students from group classes to reach their health, fitness and wellness goals. Team Player Supporting the Head of Pilates and respecting the strategic vision of PURE Pilates. Cooperation and teamwork are paramount in the culture of PURE. Due to the share number of Pilates studios and the Pilates team size, offering to cover for fellow team members is a must. Maintaining Pilates studios clean and organised, reporting to management promptly of any equipment that requires maintenance. Participating and assisting with events, activities, workshops, meetings, training and education as organised by PURE. Qualifications Certified Pilates Teacher – certification must be specific to the modality and role that is being applied for. Reformer Pilates Teacher requires a Reformer Teacher’s Certification from a recognised Reformer Course. Working on the trapeze table, wunda chair, ladder barrel etc requires a comprehensive teacher’s certification. Mat Pilates requires a mat pilates certification from a recognised Pilates organisation. The GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Methods are both trademarked certifications. Minimum of 12-18 months of Pilates teaching experience. Valid CPR and First Aid certification. Ability to work flexible hours – early mornings, during the day, evenings, weekends. Training in other areas of Pilates is not a pre-requisite but is an advantage particularly for Private Pilates eg Clinical Pilates, Pre-hab and Rehabilitation specialist, Scoliosis, Pre & Postnatal, Peri and Post Menopausal, Special conditions eg Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
