Executive Officer I/II (External Engagement) in the College of Business The appointee will play a pivotal role in elevating our external engagement efforts, including alumni development, branding and marketing, and industry collaboration. Duties Event management: plan, develop, and organise impactful events that enhance the College’s visibility and reputation. Alumni development and engagement: oversee the College Alumni Advisory Board and collaborate with chairs, members, and internal staff to plan and implement key projects and events focused on industry collaboration, student development, fundraising, alumni networking, and international partnerships. Industry partnership development and engagement: assist in expanding the industry network and raising awareness in support of the College’s long‑term development goals. Branding, marketing, and media engagement: assist in managing marketing and branding initiatives and projects, build strong relationships with marketing, branding, and media professionals, and cultivate connections with local and international media outlets to enhance the College’s visibility. Multi‑media production management: oversee the development of multimedia productions that creatively and professionally showcase the College’s initiatives, programs, and achievements, and craft compelling communication materials that convey impactful messages for both internal and external audiences. Digital presence management: manage and invigorate the College’s website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, and Weibo), utilize analytics and data‑driven approaches to evaluate and explore innovative channels and content for promotion, and engage audiences in exciting and effective ways. Additional duties: take on various projects and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the College’s mission and goals. Qualifications & Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism/Design/Business Administration, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in event management, public relations, customer service, sales and marketing, media, training, or related fields. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese). Proven experience in managing scalable events, marketing campaigns, and driving initiatives as project/event manager. Experience with social media platforms and extensive knowledge of various media channels is preferred. Experience in graphic design and multimedia production is highly desirable. Mature, independent thinker who is well‑organised, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and a team player with problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong stakeholder management abilities. Excellent influencing, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timelines, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to work under pressure.
