Building Management Officer

Responsibilities Act as in-charge of the building security team and building management. Report directly to the Administration Manager. Plan and supervise renovation/improvement projects related to building management and outdoor installations. Coordinate daily maintenance activities with various venue users. Enforce house rules and regulations, and address inquiries, requests, and complaints regarding building management matters. Coordinate with outsourced vendors for daily facility services and maintenance. Monitor contractor activities, such as the proper use of gondolas or scissor platforms. Lead the security team to provide quality services on building security control as well as oversee access control systems, CCTV systems, Building Management Systems, and other security-related systems. Carry out security checks in irregular intervals for safe and secure environment (e.g. bag checking, property search, valid staff/visitor card etc.). Ensure proper completion of logbooks (i.e. occurrence books), daily reports and incident reports in a professional manner providing sufficient details, initial investigations, and handling methods in the case of fire, theft, property damages etc. Provide proactive support to handle emergency incidents or evacuation situations, in a calm and professional manner. Effectively use the public announcement system to notify staff and visitors the emergency situation and the action that they should take. Perform other facilities management and related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Degree holder in Facility Management, Property Management, Housing, or related disciplines. Qualified for Property Management Practitioner (PMP) (Tier 1) License. Possess a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) & Security Personnel Permit. (Candidates expecting to obtain within three months of employment commencement will also be considered.) Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in property management is a definite advantage. Proficient in the Building Management Ordinance (BMO) and related regulations. Strong command of verbal and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing.
