Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 56890-1) Number of Vacancy: 1 Relevant Field: Others Nature: Contract Deadline: 18 Dec 2025 Contract Period: 01 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (12 months) Payroll: InfoTech Employer: Business Government T26 Contract Location: Base Yau Ma Tei Work in Guangdong Province: N/A Monthly Salary Range: HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26): To provide ongoing system maintenance support to mission‑critical application system and data centers of Transport Department and to maintain, enhance and upgrade the existing server infrastructure. Duties Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full‑time second to serve the TD. In charge of and monitor contractors for the on‑going system maintenance support to servers of different hardware (blade server, shared disk storage, network devices) and operating system platforms (including Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware). Monitor and handle operation support at data centers in production and disaster recovery (DR) sites. Liaise with contractors and vendors in deploying change requests, DR drill, preventive maintenance, capacity planning on application system and data centers. Evaluate impact of installation of software patches and updates. Coordinate with application support teams, users, contractors and vendors for proper scheduling of system installation and maintenance works. Provide first‑line and second‑line support in the operation tasks of application system. Oversee and monitor the facilities (e.g., cooling system, fire detection & suppression system, data centre monitoring, security, surveillance system, dual power supply & UPS, etc.) at data centers; and supervise staff under his/her charge for the above tasks. Years of Total Post‑Quali Experience: 4.0 Years of Relevant Experience: 1.0 Requirements Solid knowledge and good technical skill in Unix, Windows Server edition 2012 and 2012 R2. Experience on the operations of blade server, shared disk storage and network devices. Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English. Good coordination skills in handling tasks with team members and other parties. Good leadership skills in leading subordinates with different ranks. Need to work in various office locations of TD. May require to work in irregular hours. Technical Skills At least 3 years' experience in Datacentre Maintenance (DCM). At least 3 years' experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT). At least 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN). At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT). At least 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12). Non‑technical Skills At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV). At least 1 year experience in project management (PRM). 1 year experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
