OKX Ventures is the investment arm of the OKX ecosystem, dedicated to fostering innovation and building the foundational infrastructure of the decentralized future. What You’ll Be Doing Deal Sourcing & Ecosystem Scouting: Proactively identify and source high-potential investment opportunities by being deeply embedded in the global Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystem, particularly those building on or complementary to X Layer and other leading EVM chains. Strategic Partnerships & Development: Forge and manage strategic relationships with key ecosystem players—including foundations, lead developers, incubators, research firms, and infrastructure providers—to create a funnel for deals and value-add for our portfolio. Developer Community Leadership: Act as a key ambassador and connector within global developer communities. Attend and represent OKX Ventures at major hackathons, conferences, and developer meetups to build brand presence and source deals. Commercial Due Diligence: Conduct deep token economic analysis of target companies. Assess protocol design, team capability, market fit, and long-term viability. Portfolio Support & Value-Add: Serve as a strategic partner to portfolio projects. Provide hands-on support with go-to-market strategy, business development, technical integrations, and community growth, leveraging OKX ecosystem resources. Market Intelligence & Thesis Development: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends in L1/L2 ecosystems. Synthesize insights to shape and evolve our investment thesis and strategy. What We Look For In You Crypto-Native Intuition: You understand crypto deeply, with a track record of identifying alpha and understanding protocol value accrual before it becomes mainstream. You are an active user of DeFi, NFTs, and other on-chain primitives. Proven Ecosystem Builder: Experience in ecosystem growth, developer relations (DevRel), or ecosystem investments within a top-tier Layer 1 or Layer 2 foundation/protocol. A demonstrable history of supporting and growing ecosystems. Developer Community Network: A robust network within overseas developer communities (especially North America/Europe). You know builders, attend hackathons, and are active in Discord/Telegram channels where innovation happens. Investment Acumen: Experience in venture capital, growth investing, or related Web3 fields. Analytical, data-driven, and capable of building financial models and investment memos. Strategic Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
