VP II

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP II - Investment. The Business Development category is responsible for generating new business and for initiating and managing business development initiatives. In this role you will: Assisting in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers Assisting in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers Proactively identifying sales opportunities and develop these opportunities Supporting distribution channel business development strategies Supporting plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews To be successful you will need: Holder of relevant insurance and investment licenses and compliance with related Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements Solid experience in Investment Product distributions within banking or other financial institutions; License holder of Hong Kong Securities Institution papers Relevant experience working within commercial banking or retail banking handling investment products; Sound understanding of customer investment requirements and ability to address such needs Negotiation and customer relationship management skills and experience; Ability to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders in an efficient and precise manner Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin Candidate with less experience will be considered for a junior position The employment is subject to Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (MRCS) as per regulatory requirement.
