Assistant Data Science Manager – AXA Hong Kong and Macau Location: Hong Kong SAR Responsibilities Support the development of data science initiatives, including deep‑learning models and statistically advanced model scripts, to underpin AI and analytics projects. Lead LLM‑related projects such as Knowledge Bot and Document Understanding. Enhance and maintain the C360 Datamart. Monitor and improve the performance and effectiveness of production models. Manage BI solution development and implementation for MI reporting using Power BI. Deliver customer‑centric insights through data visualization. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to broaden the applicability of data science. Qualifications Graduate or advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. 3–5 years of experience as a statistician, analyst, or data scientist. Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus. Hands‑on experience in RAG design and implementation. Proficiency with deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. Strong knowledge of the model development lifecycle: data cleansing, feature engineering, model training, and validation. Familiarity with data science libraries (Pandas, Spark, NumPy, scikit‑learn, etc.). Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL. Experience in web programming is a plus. Knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset. Proactive, can‑do attitude. Good command of English and Cantonese/Mandarin. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Manager position.
