Due to recent business expansion, my client is looking for a Head of Department Store to join their company to manage the daily operations. Job Responsibilities Monitor the team's performance to achieve the sales target set by the senior management. Develop and implement the sales strategies. Establish revenue, cost containment and service targets. Plan the annual and quarterly sales targets and recruit for merchandise and brands. Monitor the sales performance and standard of the store, cost control and the inventory. Enhance the store operations, branding and sales performance by providing analysis and recommendations to senior management. Work closely with the Marketing Department for the development and implementation of marketing activities. Job Requirements Degree holder in Business Administration/Marketing or related disciplines. At least 12 years’ experience in the management of a department store with multiple categories or in the retail industry. Proven managerial skills in working out strategic sales & marketing plan in increasing sales for the store, retail administration, merchandising and inventory management, budgeting and cost control. Excellent market connections and relations with suppliers/vendors, and a good sense of the market trends and customers’ needs. Strong leadership with effective problem solving and negotiation skills; result‑oriented, proactive, aggressive, attentive to details and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
