Apply Now if you’re ready to be part of a team that shapes the future of healthcare Job Description: Responsible for Product design and development, ensuring products meet with engineering specifications, technical standards, and quality requirements. Leverage manufacturing or production experience to identify feasible design solutions and support smooth transition from design to manufacturing. Continuously improve existing product designs by analysing potential enhancements and implementing necessary modifications. Investigate production failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to review pilot runs and production processes. Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers regarding engineering improvements. Apply technical expertise to support material selection and tooling design for innovative product development. Prepare detailed design documentation, including 3D models, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports for comprehensive records during the product development process. Assist with regulatory documentation submissions, including complying with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other relevant guidelines. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management. Candidates with more experience may be considered for as a Senior Product Design Engineer. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or relevant disciplines. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in engineering, with a preference for experience in manufacturing or production environments, especially within the medical device industry. Proficiency in using 3D and 2D engineering software such as Creo and AutoCAD. Strong problem‑solving and logical thinking skills, task‑orientated and proactive team player. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical device technology and industry trends to apply best practices in product design. Occasional travel to China as required.
