Overview We are a well-established motor manufacturing and product assembly group headquartered in Hong Kong with production plants in Southern China and an overseas office in the United States. We are seeking a high-caliber candidate to fill the position due to our continued success and growth. Responsibilities Lead the development and design of Brushless DC (BLDC) motors. Prepare comprehensive motor design proposals, improvement strategies, and associated documentation in English. Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) lists and motor-related technical drawings, provide component quotations, and perform cost calculations. Supervise the production and follow-up of motor prototypes, as well as diagnose and resolve technical issues. Conduct testing and experiments related to motors and compile detailed engineering analysis reports. Develop engineering documentation, including DFMEA, Special Characteristics (SC) lists, and other relevant technical files. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Proven expertise in the development and design of automotive Brushless DC (BLDC) motors, with in-depth knowledge of automotive chassis systems, including braking, suspension, and steering systems. A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience is required. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and testing protocols specific to automotive BLDC motors. Strong proficiency in English, particularly in listening and writing, with the ability to communicate effectively via email. Proficiency in SolidWorks for design and drafting, as well as in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and presentations. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 development processes, along with a solid understanding of the six core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. A proactive work ethic, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
