Environmental Officer

Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited has actively participated in many development projects in Hong Kong since the 1980s. Those projects include the redevelopment of public housing estates, the Private Sector Participation Scheme for the Hong Kong Housing Authority, construction of school buildings for primary, secondary and tertiary institutes, and a range of commercial, industrial, residential and shopping arcade projects for the private sector. Responsibilities Implement the environmental management plan and the environmental management system Ensure compliance with the legal and contractual requirements of environmental issues Carry out site inspections and supervise environmental mitigation measures Prepare environmental submissions/documents and licence/permit applications Attend environmental meetings Qualifications Degree in Building Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, Civil / Building Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in construction industry Experience in Integrated Management System (ISO) / Licensing / Sustainability / Environmental / Green Building (BEAM / LEED / WELL) preferred Completion of the Environmental Officer course will be an advantage BEAM Pro with BEAM Plus experience would be an advantage Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Environmental Officer.
