About The Job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Concierge Department in Hong Kong, the Assistant Concierge Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of baggage, valet and airport team, supervising Concierge staff and ensuring guest enquiries are handled professionally. The Assistant Concierge Manager reports to the Chief Concierge. Responsibilities Assist the Chief Concierge in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Department. Observe and ensure that all colleagues are performing their duties in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures. Assist all departments with any service lapses that may arise. Make decisions in the best interest of the hotel from a sound understanding of how decisions are made, ensuring consistency. Achieve maximum guest satisfaction and adhere to the quality standards required by the hotel. Stay updated with events happening in Hong Kong and communicate them to the team. Handle guests’ feedback or complaints and provide appropriate resolutions in a timely manner. Study and evaluate operational procedures and make suggestions for improvement when needed. Organize all transportation requirements and luggage arrangements for hotel guests. Ensure that the Concierge Desk information is always up to date. Demonstrate exceptional guest recognition in the hotel lobby & entrance. Qualifications 5 years of Concierge Operations with at least 1 year at supervisory/management level. Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken English and Chinese. Superior guest resolution and problem‑solving abilities. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
