Maintance Engineer

Core Responsibilities Preventive and routine maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability. Troubleshooting and repairs: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs by replacing parts or fixing problems. Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Record keeping: Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, equipment installations, and repairs. Safety and compliance: Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety procedures and regulations. Additional Duties Supervision: Train technicians and discuss problem solutions with contractors. Coordination: Work with other departments and technicians to schedule repairs and ensure smooth operations. Inventory management: Assist in managing mechanical inventory by ordering and managing spare parts inventory. Process improvement: Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and strategies to increase efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in maintenance engineering and must‑have technical and management experience in repairing mining dump trucks. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure, including on‑call shifts. Excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese/Mandarin is advantageous.
