System Administrator (Power Systems/Technical Services Department) Join to apply for the System Administrator (Power Systems/Technical Services Department) role at CLP . Contract Period: Permanent / 2-Year Contract Responsibilities Manage work schedules to ensure timeliness of meter data collection for all CLP customers. Perform daily operations on various meter reading management systems, e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Strategic Metering Platform (SMP). Design and conduct user acceptance tests and health checks upon system upgrades and changes. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors as and when required. Design, architect, and code process automation scripts to improve operation efficiency. Extract, transform, and analyze large amounts of data to provide insight driving business decision and support other initiatives. Occasional travels in Mainland China may be required. Requirements Higher Certificate / Higher Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Professional Diploma in Power Engineering or equivalent plus 2 years’ relevant experience OR Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Power Engineering or equivalent plus 4 years’ relevant experience. Knowledge in data analysis preferred. Good analytical mind, critical thinking and fast learning. Proactive team players willing to go the extra mile. Experience in IT systems enhancement and metering projects preferrable. Knowledge and experience in metering operations, SAP / Oracle / Power BI / Power Automate / R / Python / AI development preferred. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Team player with good analytical mind and fast learning ability; mindful to details and flexible to take up ad-hoc duties. Candidate who has shown good potential for further development but with less qualification and/or experience will be considered for a position at lower grade.
